Summer Heats up with Groovin in the Park, a Day of Reggae, Rhythm & Blues in NYC July 1, 2012

Updated 6/10:  “Empress of Soul” Gladys Knight added to the lineup.       Summer Heats Up in NYC with Groovin in the Park, a Day of Reggae, Rhythm & Blues at Roy Wilkins Park on July 1, 2012.   In what has already been billed by many as the most highly anticipated outdoor festival of the summer in NYC, Groovin Inc.  has announced Groovin in the Park,  A Day of Reggae Rhythm & Blues, which will take place on Sunday, July 1st, 2012 at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens.   Sure to be a highlight of NYC’s 4th of July festivities, Reggae Legends Beres Hammond ,Jimmy Cliff  & Beenie Man (announced June 5th) will share the stage with R&B Legends Boyz II Men and Gladys Knight (announced 6/10).  Gates open at noon.
