Reggae Grammy 2020 – Who will be nominated?
The nominations for the 62nd Grammys will be announced on 11/20/19. There are 84 categories including the Best Reggae Album category.
Albums submitted for Grammy nomination consideration had to be released between October 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019. Reports are that over 120 albums have been submitted.
Who will be nominated for Best Reggae Grammy 2020? Only five final nominees are expected in this category. Here are just a fraction of the eligible recordings (former nominees, winners and newcomers as well) that are being discussed by fans and media alike. The possible contenders listed in release date order include:
- Beres Hammond – Never Ending 10/12/18
- Julian Marley – As I Am 01/25/19
- Koffee – Rapture 3/14/19
- Christopher Martin – And Then 5/3/19
- Shaggy – Wah Gwaan 5/10/19
- Steel Pulse – Mass Manipulation 5/17/19
- Marcia Griffiths – Timeless 6/14/19
- Morgan Heritage – Loyalty 8/2/19
- Third World – More Work To Be Done 8/16/19
- Stick Figure – World on Fire 8/30/19
- Jah Cure – Royal Soldier 8/30/19
