Rebel Salute 2018 celebrated its 25th anniversary this year!

Since the festival’s inception in 1994,  Rebel Salute has featured a stellar line up of wholesome entertainment for the entire family.   This year was no exception;  Rebel Salute is Jamaica’s premiere conscious Reggae music festival now spanning two days  in the beautiful seaside location of Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in St. Ann, Jamaica.   The festival takes place the same weekend each year, which happens to coincide with the US holiday weekend celebrating Martin Luther King’s birthday as well as taking place on the Earthstrong weekend of  Rebel Salute’s founder, Tony Rebel.

As a special treat, the entire event was live streamed and  available to “Saluters” near and far via the Rebel Salute website,  free of charge – giving everyone a taste of the Rebel Salute experience!     Check out some photo highlights courtesy of photographer Melvin Calender who experienced his first time at Rebel Salute!
