New Video: Jonathan Emile – Savanna
Jamaican – Canadian artist Jonathan Emile pays homage to his mother’s roots in Savanna-La-Mar with his latest single and video “Savanna”. The video shot in Sav (the largest town and capital of Westmoreland, Jamaica) displays striking visuals to tell his story of love and a deep connection to the land of his family.
“I can’t even remember the first time I went to Jamaica, but every time I go it’s like a spiritual experience, going back to my mother’s land, yuh know? The sights, the sounds, the smells – just beautiful. Learning patois as a second language as a Jamaican born a farin – yo no pretense, just the residence. Seen?”
