After a five year hiatus of officially performing together as a group, Morgan Heritage known affectionately as the Royal Family of Reggae returns in full force in 2013 with a new album appropriately entitled Here Come the Kings which was released on June11, 2013. To celebrate the release of their album and commencement of a multi-city North Eastern Tour, an official album release event will be held on Jamaica’s Independence Day, Tuesday, August 6th at SOBs in NYC.

Following the album launch, Morgan Heritage will be busy on the road with individual shows in Martha’s Vineyard (8/7), Boston (8/8), Portland, Maine (8/9) Salisbury, MA (8/11) Wellfleet, MA (8/14) Fairfield, CT (8/15), Burlington, VT (8/17), Chicago (8/21) Cleveland, Ohio (8/22) , Columbus, Ohio (8/23), and Marlboro, Maryland (8/24) as well as appearances on premiere NorthEastern US and Canadian Festivals : Newport Reggae Festival (8/10), Montreal Reggae Festival (8/16), Toronto Reggae Festival (8/18).
