Jah Mason launches new album Love & Wisdom at Redbones Blues Cafe New Kingston, Jamaica
11/24/15 – RedBones Blues Cafe, a popular and elegant live music club in New Kingston, Jamaica was the perfect setting to celebrate the launch of Jah Mason’s latest album, Love & Wisdom with both fans and media outlets in attendance. Love & Wisdom, the debut album on the New Creations record label based in Atlanta, Ga tells the story of everyday life with several songs speaking to the the trials and tribulations of love relationships as well as themes pertaining to the benefits of a natural way of life. Jah Mason shared his vision of the album stating, “It’s all about Love & Wisdom and the concept is about every day living environmentally, and we just put it into words, to deliver the message through music as a transportation to send it across the world.”
Setting the overall tone for the evening Jah Mason accompanied by the uplifting sounds of Kasha Macca, kicked off the up-close and intimate performance with Life so Joyful from his 2004 album Never Give Up. The entertaining set was a versatile mixture of popular songs from his extensive catalog such as Rise & Shine, Chalwah, and Farmer Man, mixed in with selections from Love & Wisdom including Can You Feel My Pain, From Wah Day, Trouble on Your Shoulder, and When You Love Someone.

A beautiful performance of Jah Mason’s international hit Princess Gone followed by Don’t Think I’m Crying Over You were his final selections before the crowd demanded a rousing encore of several requested songs including Take Me There, Wheat & Tears, Fire, High Grade and Kings of Kings.

After the well received performance, Jah Mason took some time out for interviews and a meet & greet, signing autographs and taking photos making this a night of Love & Wisdom to remember for all attendees. New Creation Records CEO, Sherwin Sterling further endorsed the concept of Love & Wisdom as a Life’s Journey , ” It’s always important to keep our mind as wide as the ocean and our hearts as the stream and keep loving each other the same.”
