20th Annual 9 Mile Festival set for March 2nd in Miami, FL
The 20th Annual 9Mile Festival returns to the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park in Key Biscayne (Miami), Florida on March 2nd. Keeping a similar format to previous years, the tradition of blending Roots Reggae Legends with Hip Hop greats continues and this year the schedule also includes a few more popular Dancehall acts as well as Soca. Julian Marley, Damian Marley, and Stephen Marley will again headline the festival. Capleton a familiar performer on the festival also returns this year and new to the festival are hip-hop acts 2Chains and Future. Mavado, and Konshens representing the dancehall genre well and Machel Montano and Patrice Roberts will bring a mix of Soca to the Miami audience.
February 20th update: Daniel Bambaata Marley has been added to the lineup.
Previously Roots Reggae Culture artist Luciano was also announced as an additional act.
