Bassnectar will join headliners, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Nas, Stephen “Ragga” Marley and many more for a wildly impressive launch of the Bay Area Vibez Festival, being held at MIDDLE HARBOR SHORELINE PARK on SEPTEMBER 26-27 in OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA

Multi-platinum selling producer and DJ, Bassnectar joins three other heavy-hitting headliners; Grammy© winning artist, Damian Marley, Nas; hip-hop artist whose album hit #1 on American Billboard top 200 and eight time Grammy© winning artist/producer, Stephen “Ragga” Marley for the two-day, multistage Bay Area Vibez Festival. The second round of artist additions include Bassnectar, along with progressive electronic DJ/Producer Paper Diamond and the duo hip-hop euphoria legends, The Grouch & Eligh, American DJ/Producer Cut Chemist, the Godfather of mashups; DJ/Producer Z Trip, along with the budding “hippy-hop” rapper – Mod Sun, Jemere Morgan and Alex Kane.

The festival will take place at the awe-defying waterfront landscape of Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland, California on September 26 and 27. The added artists fuse extraordinary talent from sea-to-shining-sea, for a world-class music and arts festival, providing sheer music bliss.

The urban lifestyle festival, Bay Area Vibez culminates a genre-bending lineup of more than 25 artists, now consisting of Bassnectar, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Nas, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Grammy© nominated Meshell Ndegeocello, Paper Diamond, The Grouch and Eligh, #1 Billboard reggae band Morgan Heritage, Cut Chemist, Z Trip, Tarrus Riley, the punk-metal, ska infused band – Fishbone, Mod Sun, Richie Spice, Fiji, I-Wayne, trending hip-hop rock band – Krooked Treez, Ghetto Youths; Jo Mersa; son of Stephen Marley, along with Black Am-I, The Courtney John Project, Jemere Morgan, Skip Marley, Oakland based fan-favorite Forrest Day, Queen Omega, I-Live and Alex Kane. More artists will be announced in mid August.

The festival will house a nightly silent disco; lead by numerous respected DJ’s, on-stage live art, VIP experience availability, local artisans, authentic eats, as well as regional craft brew and wine gardens. The founders of Tour’N Entertainment are delivering a world-class festival and lineup, which will enlighten the most critical of musical pallet.

Tickets are on sale now. Early bird General Admission are set at $65 for 1-day passes, $120 for 2-day passes and $159 1-day VIP, or $299 2-day VIP passes, which include early entrance to grounds, special VIP viewing and lounge area, VIP beer and wine garden and select organic foods and snacks.
